The train of a new era: Faster, greener, further

The idea of a prehistory of the future invites us to reflect on the evolution of the train, by exploring its past and anticipating its future. Once a symbol of the industrial revolution, the train was part of an era of mechanical progress. Today, we imagine a future where trains could levitate thanks to magnetic energy. This train of the future, free from rails, would also be much more environmentally friendly, reducing CO₂ emissions and the environmental footprint. In this way, rail innovation is being transformed by linking its past with a sustainable vision of tomorrow.
